Sicilian Wine Event: Read and Drink Your Wine

By Carrie Becker in Food on Sep 15, 2010 3:40PM

2010_09_15_Palmento.jpg Step away from your desk, your cube, your workspace, or wherever you reside right now and let’s take a trip to Sicily. How do we get there? If you are Robert V. Camuto, you get there by way of Southern France and you spend an entire year set on tapping into the emerging wine scene but you find there is more to the Sicilian vines through stories told by local families, musicians and celebrities alike.

Get a little closer to Sicily tonight and stop in at Lush West Town to meet Camuto, get an autographed copy of his book “Palmento: A Sicilian Wine Odessy” and enjoy a free wine tasting with Frank Cornellisen and Alberto Aiello Graci, winemakers from Mount Etna, Sicily.
