whiteMysteryHORL.jpg Red hair? Check. White skinny's? Check. Bad-ass rock attitude? Check. Well, if this sounds like you then head over to the Empty Bottle on Saturday to audition for the newest video for Chicago's retro, garage-rock, red-headed brother-sister duo, White Mystery.

Auditions for the video for the for the song, "Power Glove" begin at 1 p.m. and Ms. White told loudlooppress "punctuality is a necessity" since the actual shoot will take place from 2-3 p.m. As if having your luscious red locks immortalized for all to see wasn't enough, those who are cast will receive a bounty of limited edition White Mystery merchandise.

The White's are frequently approached by film-makers with ideas for videos to accompany their gut-wrenching style of rock, this particular one appealed to them because it was geared around their captivating live performances. In essence, the duo will be playing for an audience composed of sea of red-headed concert goers in white.

The idea came as a response to MIA's contentious, ginger-hating video for the song Born Free.

Besides the video, White Mystery will be playing The Empty Bottle that night at 10 p.m. with another of our favorite '60s garage disciples, The Outer Minds. If these events weren't keeping the group busy enough, the duo will be on WBEZ's Sound Opinions tonight at 7 p.m. and recently invaded the ears of people across the globe on the Daytrotter Sessions.
