After an alleged drug dealer was robbed of his product he called the police to report the theft. Steven Dragon was picked up by the police for being a suspect in a purse snatching incident last January. While Dragon was doing the phony lineup, the police confiscated the half a kilo of cocaine that was in Dragon’s trunk, according to a federal complaint unsealed Thursday, the Sun Times reports.

This was part of a sting operation called "Shady Business" that targeted the Two-Six street gang in Little Village. There were 22 other associates of the gang that were arrested in a series of raids in Chicago and Berwyn on Wednesday. When Dragon found out he got punk'd he called 911. The record said, “Somebody robbed my car when the police had me…they took my keys and everything.” Dragon then called other associates from the wiretapped phone complaining about the situation. The 23 defendants face sentences of up to 40 years in jail and $2 million in fines.
