Pubs and German Chicago

Pub Crawl Discover Chicago through its real history: yup, Chicago pubs. Organized by the Chicago History Museum, these semimonthly Thursday crawls have a different theme each month and are incredibly popular. September is Oktoberfest a month early, as a trolley brings you to the heart of German Chicago, with tastes of lagers, bocks, and kolsch; October offers a chance to drink during the “BOO-ze!” tours, with visits to our city’s most haunted bars; and in November, re-use all that wedding gear from this summer—put on your old gown, tux, or bridesmaid frippery and toast with the bubbly at the city’s best champagne bars.
