  • Catch local stand-up comic and radio personality James Fritz this Tuesday for a very special Chicago Underground Comedy. Fritz will be recording his first comedy CD; come out to this totally free and hilarious show and be able to say you saw him when. Chicago Underground Comedy and Red Bar Radio present “Deflated,” 9 p.m., Tuesday, Beat Kitchen, 2100 W. Belmont, FREE.
  • This Thursday and Friday, stand-up comedy and variety showcase the Lincoln Lodge opens its doors after summer hiatus. Come meet the new cast members and catch Fortune Feimster and Kyle Kinane in an increasingly rare intimate setting, as these cats are well on their way to superstardom.
9 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Lincoln Lodge, in the back of the Lincoln Restaurant, 4008 N Lincoln Ave., $13.
  • Speaking of the Lodge, After Ellen chatted with cast members Cameron Esposito and Candy Lawrence about their roles at the Lodge and women in comedy. Check it!
  • The latest Blewt! production kicks off this Sunday at the Annoyance Theater. The Price, an original play written by a man from Kenya named Victor Gido, will be staged and feature several Chicago actors. The script was originally solicited via email (as these solicitations from Kenya generally are), with the query, "Hello there. My names is Victor Gido from Nairobi, Kenya, and would like to ask if you people are interested in any plays for the moment." Instead of hitting Delete, Blewt! founder Steve Gadlin responded.
    8 p.m., Annoyance Theater, 4820 N. Broadway, $10
Below, check out wacky Glee spoof Homeless by local jokers Electric Baby Safari. The second episode is currently being shot all around town:
