Sam Adam Sr., Jr. Out Of Blago Retrial

Sun-Times Courts Reporter Natasha Korecki is reporting that the father and son legal team of Sam Adam, Sr. and Sam Adam, Jr. (pictured) will not be representing former Governor Rod Blagojevich in his retrial. The Adamses filed a joint motion in federal court today saying that they cannot properly defend Blagojevich in his retrial, due to rules limiting Governor Sound Bite's legal team to 2 attorneys paid with public funds.

Using his campaign fund, Blagojevich was able to hire a legal team of fourteen lawyers for his original trial, in which the jury was hung on 23 of 24 counts. Adam, Jr.'s blustery approach during the trial made him almost as entertaining as Blago.
