Terzo Piano Showcases Local Chefs for Charity

On Monday, October 11, Terzo Piano will be hosting a delectable-sounding "Farm to Fork Fest." Several of our favorite chefs will be cooking, including Allison and Rob Leavitt of Mado and Jason Hammel and Amalea Tshilds of Lula Café. Josh Adams of June (in Peoria) will also be joining the team. Any chance to have locally-sourced food cooked in front of you by this team is worth the $125 price tag - and if that wasn't enough, all the proceeds are going to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Tickets include passed appetizers and main courses from each chef, North Shore Distillery liquors and Two Brothers beers, and a dessert display to finish off the evening. You'll also get a chance to talk to the chefs, so if you are interested in sustainable food or if you happen to be a Lula groupie, now is your big chance.
We haven't gotten a chance to check out Terzo Piano yet (we know, it's been open for over a year now) but we've heard that, after a slightly rocky intitial start, they have leveled out into a respectable venue. If you're as delinquent in trying new things as we sometimes are, this would be a great chance to get into the space and start tasting.
