And it seems like the candidates are full-swing into campaign mode.
This is what my Chicagoist inbox looked like this morning, three weeks before an election.
The unfortunate byproduct of a tight race with lots of accusations (Giannoulias and Kirk) and bickering and name calling (Brady and Quinn) is that the deluge of sniping, press releases and personal attacks can detract from what are real and substantial policy differences between the candidates.
