Morning Box Score: Blackhawks Speed Past Columbus

By Chuck Sudo in News on Oct 16, 2010 2:00PM

Blackhawks 5, Blue Jackets 2: Patrick Sharp scored two second period goals and set an individual team record with 13 shots on goal as the Blackhawks, playing without Patrick Kane, easily outpaced Columbus.

Marty Turco responded had his best game as a Blackhawk with 30 saves and the defense in front of him stepped up when needed, not allowing a shot on goal during a third-period power play. The Blackhawks return home tonight to face the Buffalo Sabres.
