By Chuck Sudo in News on Oct 28, 2010 1:00PM

Basketball

Thunder 106, Bulls 95: Derrick Rose scored 28 points and, Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson both notched double doubles and the Bulls looked good for much of the game. But they couldn't hang on as Kevin Durant scored 30 and Russell Westbrook added 28 as Oklahoma City pulled away late in the game

Hockey

Blackhawks 3, Kings 1: Marty Turco stopped 33 shots and Joel Quenneville's line changes provided balance on offense and defense as the Hawks snapped a two-game skid by freezing the Kings. Jake Dowell, Viktor Stalberg and Patrick Sharp each found the net for the Blackhawks. Marian Hossa, arguably the Hawks' best player this season, missed the final period with what Quenneville described as an upper body injury. Hossa will re-evaluated today to determine the extent of the injury.
