Morning Box Score: Hawks Fall To Devils' Trap

By Chuck Sudo in News on Nov 4, 2010 12:30PM

Devils 5, Blackhawks 3: The Blackhawks failing to defend their home ice has become a recurring theme early in the season, especially against poor teams like New Jersey. The Devils added to the home ice woes last night, holding off a late rally by the Hawks despite losing goalie Martin Brodeur in the second period when a Patrick Kane shot struck him in the elbow.

The Blackhawks record at home is now 4-5-0. Brian Campbell, Fernando Pisani and Viktor Stalberg scored for the Hawks.
