Bollywood at MCA

The "First Fridays" events at the Museum of Contemporary Art are usually themed affairs that also double as one of the more popular meet markets in town.

Tonight's theme focuses on "Bollywood," that colorful and influential segment of the Indian film industry in which everyone breaks down into a dance routine rivaling a Busby Berkeley number every four minutes. In keeping with the theme tonight, the MCA will have a Bindi bar, henna tattoo artists, and Bollywood dancers from Bollywood Groove. It'll be just like a street fest from the late-90's there. That'll all provide background for the world's only iMac M5 digital dating bar.

General Admission into the MCA's First Fridays is $18; MCA members pay $10, you can buy tickets online or call 312-297-4040. Now here's some Aishwarya Rai (whom Roger Ebert once called "the most beautiful woman in the world") to get you in the spirit.
