Still don't know what you're doing tonight? Aching for some more political drama, with the mid-terms in the rear-view mirror? Check out The Interview Show tonight at the Hideout. A live show hosted by Tribune Media Services columnist Mark Bazer, done in the format of a talk show, except on stage in front of a live audience and not broadcast on television.
Tonight's show will feature local rapper and 20th Ward candidate for Alderman Che "Rhymefest" Smith, along with union-side labor lawyer Thomas Geoghegan. This isn't the first time Bazer's talked to local political candidates. Cook County Board President-elect Toni Preckwinkle was interviewed in March. Also on tonight's show is Sones de Mexico Ensembel. "Chicago's Premier Folk Music Ensemble Specializing in Mexican ‘Son’," and Ruth Leitman, documentary director of “Tony & Janina’s American Wedding” and “Lipstick & Dynamite.”
The Interview Show starts at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are a scant $5. Hideout 1354 W. Wabansia Ave., Chicago.
