Adoptable Pets of the Week

Ashley is a calm and tranquil cat who likes to snuggle and purr.

Bugs is a short-hair kitten tabby, still young enough to get settled and well-adjusted in a new home. Not pictured is his brother Daffy. They would make a great pair in any home.

Lance is one of those friendly and adaptable cats known as Orange Cats. Like most orangies, he is very sociable, but likes to spend quiet time alone - with you - on your bed, couch, chair or wherever you like.

Nartia is an unusual grey and white cat who gets along well with other animals and with people.

Oscar is a quiet and friendly striped male short-haired cat.

Sally is a wonderful cat with a soft gray/blue coat. Although shy, she gets along well with people.

Scratchy is a grown up kid at heart with lots of energy and playfulness to give to you and your family and friends. Very curious and intelligent, he seems to participate in any conversation taking place around him. He loves to play with toys, people watch and engage in small talk.

Once again Animal Care and Control is overwhelmed with cats, so this week, we'll be featuring only adoptable felines. This week we've got Bugs, Ashley, Oscar,Lance, Scratchy, Narita and Sally. And don't forget, if you don't see a pet you love here, there are still lots of dogs and cats at Chicago's Animal Care and Control that still haven't been adopted - you can check them all out here. If you got space in your home and room in your heart, won't you consider adopting one of these wonderful pets from Chicago's Animal Care and Control?

As always, the adoption fee is $65.00 which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, a microchip and a city license, and all cats are screened for FIV. If you have room in your heart and your home for these pets, Chicago Animal Care & Control, at 2741 S.
