Preckwinkle Names Heavy Hitters To Transition Team

Included on the list are former Republican Governor Jim Edgar and former Democratic state Comptroller Dawn Clark Netsch, who lost a gubernatorial bid to Edgar in 1994; former LaSalle Bank chairman Norman Bobbins; Ariel Investments head John Rogers; Chicago Urban League's Andrea Zopp; and Rick Garcia of Equality Illinois. They and the rest of the team will be tasked with implementing an "action plan" based on Preckwinkle's policy report for county government she released last week.
