The Zingerman's empire in Ann Arbor, MI has something for everyone. It's a road house, creamery, bakery, deli, coffee roaster, customer service trainer, caterer. We're gonna focus on the creamery today. City Provisions Deli carries Zingerman's cheeses and the one you have to try is the Detroit St. Brick cheese.

Detroit St. Brick is a mold-ripened goat brick cheese that packs one hell of a spicy punch thanks to the addition of whole and cracked fresh green peppercorns. Zingerman's recommends slicing it thin and serving it warm, but we were slicing off thick hunks of the stuff spread like a mess on mustard seed crackers. That was breakfast yesterday. the rest went down well with a bottle of Half Acre's Bairn Farmhouse ale.

What we're saying is, you can take our serving recommendations or Zingerman's. Just get up on this cheese now.
