- An apparently spry 70 year old Wheeling woman was charged with hit-and-run after allegedly fleeing the scene of an accident on foot, and "the average foot per second she was running at was definitely more than people would assume."
- A 17-year-old has been charged with reckless homicide after he drove an SUV through the wall of an apartment complex, killing a woman who was sleeping inside.
