Dust Off Those Riding Crops: CineKink Film Fest Returns

By Kim Bellware in Arts & Entertainment on Nov 19, 2010 9:40PM

2010_11_cinekink.jpg Chicago plays host to an ever-expanding lineup of niche film festivals, and this weekend's offering has its own unique bend. The traveling CineKink film festival makes its stop in Chicago this weekend for a quick, two day engagement that will screen a selection of five films at the Leather Archives and Museum in Rogers Park.

Though kink is the main theme, the featured films offer more than just T&A titillation with the inclusion of films that are comedic, dramatic and experimental in the ways they explore a variety of sexual diversity. The festival describes its curated picks as "sex-positive and kink-friendly" with panel discussions following certain selections.

The festival kicks off tonight with their 2010 audience choice winner, "S&M Judge" and will wrap tomorrow night with a selection of CineKink's award winners in short films. The full lineup is below.
