L’Appetito Perk for Your Black Friday Shopping

Somehow, someone, somewhere has convinced you that Black Friday Shopping on Michigan Ave. is a good idea. Now it’s 7:30 a.m., you’ve been waiting for the stores to open and there’s no way you’re leaving the horrendous line you’re in to go wait in a worse one at Starbucks. Have no fear, L’Appetito is here!

Open during its regular 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. hours on Black Friday, L’Appetito has a wide range of options to perk up your day, from espresso and gelato, to pizza and salad. We are big fans of their Illy espresso and drip coffee, which is paired nicely with a scoop of pistachio gelato or a creamy, crunchy home-made cannoli—a perfect meal for any time of day.

L’Appetito offers a breakfast menu filled with hearty eggs and potatoes at both their locations: 30 E. Huron St. and at the John Hancock Center.

Looking for tougher fare to get you through the shopping holiday? Take up a slice of their pizza or a toasty grilled panini. L’Appetito offers a wide range of Italian classic subs, favorite American sandwiches and unique muffalettas. If the holiday feast from the night is still weighing you down, opt in for one of their many salad varieties.

L’Appetito is a downtown standby, having been located in the Magnificent Mile since 1981 and in the John Hancock Center since 1995. An average breakfast at L’Appetito costs $5, and an average lunch costs less than $8.

L’Appetito is located at 875 N. Michigan Ave. and at 30 E. Huron St.
