Quinn Grants Holiday Clemency for 20

Gov. Quinn earned the nickname "mighty" for a score of families in Illinois just before the holiday. Acting on a backlog of over 2,500 clemency petitions, Quinn granted clemency to 20 on Wednesday.

Since taking office, Quinn has acted on 810 clemency petitions, granting clemency to 328
