Around 7:20 a.m., a car passing the Kedzie Brown line station was hit by a northbound Brown Line train, critically injuring the driver and derailing the train. Reader Ryan Szekeres was at the scene and sent us a link to his flickr gallery showing the damage the train took.

Per Szekeres: "(W)hat the kid (the driver) looked like is not something I would ever want to see again."
