Election Challenge Petitions Online

By Chuck Sudo in News on Dec 1, 2010 9:45PM

Earle and Often has posted the complete list of petition challenges for the February elections, and there are either a lot of people looking to protect the democratic process or there are a lot of frivolous mother hubbards out there.

Objections to Rahm Emanuel's mayoral campaign lead the pack by a wide margin. Among the 24 who filed objections to Emanuel's campaign are William "Dock" Walls, local conservative gasbag William Kelly and neighborhood activist Georzetta "Queen Sister" Deloney. Walls also filed challenges to James Meeks' and Carol Moseley Braun's candidacies. Emanuel tenant Rob Halpin had his petitions challenged by Aldermen PAtrick O'Connor and Mary Ann Smith.
