Teen Arrested In Murder of Three On South Side

An 18-year-old was charged yesterday in the murders of a mother and her two daughters in Morgan Park.

Denzel Pittman of Park Forest allegedly stabbed to death 43-year-old Stacy Cochran Hill and her daughters Jade Hannah, 17, and Joi Hannah, 11. Jade Hannah was apparently Pittman's girlfriend. Pittman was picked up after a brief chase, his clothes covered in blood. Pittman also apparently has a history of domestic violence with Jade Hannah. He was charged with domestic battery against Hannah in March when an argument in his Park Forest home turned violent. In June, Pittman was shot in the hip when he wouldn't heed police warnings to drop a gun. He's expected in bond court today.
