BlueSkyLogo.jpg Our friends at Blue Sky Bakery and Cafe are running a wonderful event this weekend. Are you still looking for Christmas gifts? Did you put off shopping until the last minute? Have no fear, Blue Sky is coming to the rescue. Tomorrow and Sunday from noon to 5, Blue Sky is hosting a DIY gift basket making session replete with local food products. Food gifts are always the best gifts; they don't clutter up your apartment after the holidays!

Products will include fresh pasta from Pasta Puttana, organic sauces from Tomato Mountain, spiced syrups from Jo Snow Syrups, hand-crafted preserves from Rare Bird Preserves and organic coffee from the Coffee & Tea Exchange. Also, naturally, plenty of great pastries and desserts from Blue Sky. There is no charge for the event, and baskets can cost between $15 and $100. Get your Christmas shopping done locally this weekend, and support a great organization.

Blue Sky Bakery and Cafe is located at 3720 N. Lincoln Avenue.
