Midway to Debut Body Scanner

2010_12_14_scanners.jpg Midway Airport is going to get one full body scanner, purchased with federal stimulus funds, per Chicago Breaking News.

The scanners produce an image akin to an x-ray, showing any possible weapons and explosives travelers may be carrying. They're also the subject of some degree of controversy, with GOP lawmakers saying the scanners are a violation of the Fourth Amendment. Some scientists also warn that the scanning process may be dangerous.

We just find it another reason to go commando and flaunt it.
