GQ Names Best New Restaurants of 2010; Longman and Eagle Makes the Cut

Alan Richman, writing in the January issue of GQ, has handed down their year-end list of the best new restaurants of 2010. The list is geographically diverse, and only New York got two entries - and to be fair, one is Manhattan and one is Brooklyn. So, we can't complain about any anti-Chicago bias. Longman and Eagle was their Chicagoland choice - an selection that falls right in line with the new Michelin Guide. Richman's waiter informed him that the restaurant "aspires to become a flophouse" and that it would get even better when the "six crummy rooms" are completed. Mission accomplished.
