Morning Box Score: Bulls Slay Raptors, Blackhawks Smothered by Avalanche

By Chuck Sudo in News on Dec 16, 2010 4:00PM

Hockey

Avalanche 4, Blackhawks 3: Colorado's Tomas Fleischmann was a one man wrecking crew last night. Fleischmann's third period hat trick included back to back power play goals, and his response to a Jonathan Toews goal proved to be the game-winner at the United Center. Corey Crawford earned his third straight loss in net for the Blackhawks.

Basketball

Bulls 110, Raptors 93: Carlos Boozer is going to have more monster efficient games like the 34-point, 12-rebound, 26-minute performance he had last night against Toronto. Just as Boozer is rounding into form, the Bulls lose Joakim Noah for 8-10 weeks (Benjy will have more on that in 20). Luol deng added 19 for the Bulls.
