Christmas Eve Morning Diversion: Neil Funk and Stacey King Prepare for Tomorrow's Game

By Chuck Sudo in Miscellaneous on Dec 24, 2010 4:30PM

The Bulls are quickly becoming an exciting team on the rise. Wished the same could be said of their broadcast teams. Like the White Sox broadcast teams, the tv tandem of Neil Funk and Stacey King and the radio comb of Chuck Swirsky and Bill Wennington are imperfect fits. However, unlike the White Sox combos (which could be fixed simply by moving Hawk Harrelson to radio and teaming Ed Farmer with Steve Stone on the boob tube), you can't just mix and match the play-by-play and color analysts with the Bulls. Frankly, the possibility of a Swirsky-King pairing frightens us. Those two calling a Bulls game could make a deaf man's ears bleed.

Today, we've uncovered behind-the-scenes footage of Funk and King preparing for tomorrow's game versus the Knicks. "Butting heads" doesn't even begin to describe it.
