Morning Box Score: Bulls Take Another Ugly Win

With fear of another disappointment against one of the NBA’s worst teams, Derrick Rose and the Bulls took another close win against the Cavaliers. Rose had 28 points and 11 assists as the Bulls won for the 13th time in 15 games 100-91 Saturday night.
Things looked a little scary as the Bulls trailed by ten against a struggling, short-handed Cleveland that was missing three of their best players. The Bulls ended up outscoring Cleveland 32-9 in the third quarter thanks to Rose.
Rose scored 12 points and hit two 3-pointers in the third quarter and helped the Bulls hang on after nearly blowing a 15-point lead in the fourth. Luol Deng ended the game with 23 points and Carlos Boozer added 20 points and 11 rebounds.
In another ugly, too close for comfort win, the Bulls handed Cleveland their 16th loss in 17 games. The Bulls will get some rest after taking the court this holiday season and host the Toronto Raptors Tuesday.
