Tribune, City Club of Chicago to Host Mayoral Debate

2011_1_4_city_club_chicago.png Folks interested in seeing politicians sling BS should pencil January 27 into their calendars. That's when the Tribune and the City Club of Chicago will host a debate between Rahm Emanuel, Gery Chico, Carol Moseley Braun and Miguel del Valle.

The debate, moderated by WGN News at Nine anchor Micah Materre and Tribune Editorial Page Editor Bruce Dold, will be at the WGN-TV studios on the north side and will air commercial free starting at 7 p.m. It'll also be broadcast on WGN Radio, CLTV, wgntv.com and chicagotribune.com. The Tribune is also giving away select passes to the event for readers. To be considered part of the audience, you need to submit a job description for the next mayor. The Tribune will give tickets to the 15 most intriguing submissions.
