Blackhawks 4, Avalanche 0: Corey Crawford solidified his standing as the Hawks' number one goalie with a 24-save shutout of Colorado, preventing a regular season sweep by the Avalanche. Troy Brouwer, Fernando Pisani, Jack Skille and Dave Bolland all tallied goals for Chicago, which is starting to see some days off between games after a killer early season schedule.
Bobcats 96, Bulls 91: The Bulls once again started a game flat, as Charlotte rolled to a 55-40 halftime lead with Michael Jordan in attendance. Chicago came out with more focus in the second half, but a late rally fell short. Carlos Boozer led the Bulls with 23 points and 14 rebounds, Luol Deng added 22. Former Bull Tyrus Thomas controlled the paint for the Bobcats with 13 rebounds.
Northwestern 90, Iowa 71: The visiting Wildcats came out firing from long range against the Hawkeyes, hitting their first seven treys of the game en route to a 24-8 lead they never relinquished. NU wound up shooting from behind the arc. Drew Crawford scored 19 points, Michael Thompson 17 and John Shurna 16 for the Wildcats.
Seton Hall 78, DePaul 67: The Blue Demons actually played Seton Hall close for much of the game, but Jenzell Hazel, returning to the Pirates' lineup from a broken wrist and gunshot wound, scored 23 points to pace Seton Hall past the Oliver Purnell's crew in Big East play.
