Boozer Out For Grizzlies Game

The Bulls are set to tip off against the Memphis Grizzlies at noon in Memphis, TN (WGN-TV, WMVP AM 1000). And they'll be doing so without Carlos Boozer in the lineup. Boozer sprained his left ankle in the waning moments of Saturday night's win over the Miami Heat, which turned into a duel between Derrick Rode and Dwyane Wade.
Boozer was seen after the game with a protective walking boot and, as Bulls historian and blogger Sam smith points out, these types of sprains are a day-to-day thing. Bulls fans had better hope that Boozer returns to the lineup fast, as their frontcourt is already undermanned with Joakim Noah out for at least another month recovering from thumb surgery.
Taj Gibson will replace Boozer in the starting lineup.
