Today's Weather: Rheumy

By Chuck Sudo in News on Jan 17, 2011 1:00PM

Hey, everybody! Another rainy Monday in the forecast. Another reason to spike your coffee with bourbon, bring the laptop to bed with you and read Chicagoist. But about the rain, first. From Chicago Weather Center, aka "Skilling Central:"

"Morning snow mixing with sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon. 1-3 inches of snow, heaviest west/north of the city. Snow, sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon gradually transitions to rain from the city south as temperatures creep above freezing. Highs reach the lower and middle 30s. Southeast-south winds increasing to 15-25 mph. Mixed precipitation continuing overnight changing back to snow by morning. Steady temps in the lower 30s."

This is the kind of weather that's going to make you sick, if you aren't careful.
