With Rahm Tossed, Del Valle Gets Top Spot on Ballot

So while Rahm Emanuel and his attorneys head to Springfield to appeal this afternoon's decision to toss him from the ballot, City Clerk Miguel del Valle now gets the top slot on the ballot for next month's election. Del Valle's name is followed by Carol Moseley Braun, Gery Chico, Patricia Van Pelt-Watkins and William "Dock" Walls III.

Below is video of the Press conference Emannuel held earlier this afternoon regarding the Appellate Court's decision. He's putting up the brave face here but would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for the stream of profanities he likely spewed when the decision was announced.
