Ski Jumping in Chicago

By Chuck Sudo in News on Jan 31, 2011 8:00PM

Founded in 1905, the Norge Ski Club is the oldest and one of the best ski clubs in the country. Among their many achievements, the club, based in Fox River Grove, Norge Ski Club has hosted ski jumping demonstrations at Soldier Field and Wrigley Field, and four of their members are in the ski jumping Hall of Fame.

The club hosted its 106th annual ski jump tournament over the weekend and reader Duane Rapp was gracious enough to share these two shots in the Chicagoist Photos flickr pool.
