  • Lake Shore Drive is still closed. Crews are working to clear it and the 200 cars still stranded on the drive.

  • CPS schools will be closed a second consecutive day.
  • City Colleges of Chicago will be closed tomorrow
  • O'Hare and Midway are now open.
  • CTA says rail service is still the best option for traveling; yellow line service is suspended and Pink Line service from Pulaski to 54th/Cermak is running a shuttle bus.
  • Motorists who stranded their vehicles on Lake Shore Drive last night can pick up their cars at one of four lots: Montrose, Belmont, Wells and Chicago Ave. Call 311 for info. The average wait time to get through to 311 is currently 10-20 minutes
  • With the wind chills becoming dangerous tonight, you can call 311 to request a wellness check for senior neighbors. Senior centers will remain closed tomorrow.
  • 58,000 ComEd customers are still without power this evening.
  • Cook County Circuit Court will be closed tomorrow.
