Despite consistently dominating the court while being shorthanded, the Bulls may have experienced some jet lag in Golden State, if that’s what you want to call it. Consistency was lacking as the Bulls snapped their six-game winning streak vs. Warriors in a frustrating 101-90 loss Saturday night.
Monta Ellis scored 33 points and Stephen Curry had 23 and put a halt to Derrick Rose and the Bulls, forcing the All-Star guard into a season-high nine turnovers. Rose finished with just 14 points and 10 assists and Carlos Boozer had 21 points and 10 rebounds in just the second game of a critical stretch on the road.
With their All-Star out of sync and struggling, Boozer stepped up along with Luol Deng who finished with 18 points and 6 rebounds. The Bulls continued to battle late but they were completely out of sync and the continued on at the Warriors' pace.
The Bulls will get a chance to turn things around as they visit the Trail Blazers Monday and see some familiar faces in Utah Tuesday.
