"One for the Road:" The Yayhoos

The Yayhoos are something of an alt-country supergroup comprising of Georgia Satellites frontman Dan Baird and bassist Keith Christopher, Olympic Ass-Kickin' team drummer Terry Anderson and Batavia native Eric "Roscoe" Ambel. Ambel was one of Joan Jett's original Blackhearts, a founding member of the Del-Lords and Steve Earle's lead guitarist during the early part of the last decade. As a live act, they absolutely rip it. The Bloodshot release Fear Not the Obvious would make our desert island disc collection because, well, if we do one day wind up stranded on a desert island we'll need something to laugh with once in a while.

The song we're sharing today could have easily made the cut on that free love songs sampler Bloodshot is giving away on Amazon. It's a perfect sentiment for couples too familiar with each other.
