Jam Productions is known to many as the independent titan on the Chicago live entertainment scene. You've seen their ads in the paper (or online if you've given up on print), on your ticket stubs and on concert venue marquees across the area. If you've attended concerts in Chicago at least a few of them, if not most of them, have borne the Jam Productions imprimatur. Tomorrow night is your chance to sort of peek behind Jam's curtain and get a whiff of what really drives the internal gears as a few of the company's big wigs don their faded leather jackets and take to the turntables at The Burlington in Logan Square.

On the 1s and 2s -- the evening is vinyl only! -- will be Jam's VP of concerts Andy Cirzan, talent buyer Mike LeMaistre, promoter Nick Miller and VP of marketing and media relations John Soss. If you're a regular listener to SOund Opinions yu've certainly heard one of Cirzan's infamous Christmas mix tapes so you already know that the man is obsessed with digging deep to uncover the weird and the wonderful. We're expecting more of the same from him and expect that his cohorts will be throwing down similarly. These guys may play as a single team in the office but what rock and/or roller worth his salt isn't ging to try and one-up their compatriots when it comes to who plays the coolest tunes?

Please note! This is an early set so feel free to head on over straight from the office if you feel like it.

The Jam DJs spin tomorrow, Thursday, February 10, at The Burlington, 3425 W Fullerton, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., FREE, 21+
