By Sarah Cobarrubias in Arts & Entertainment on Feb 10, 2011 6:20PM

Ornery Little Darlings and Lumpen Magazine have come together to give Valentine’s weekend an arousing start. The Pilsen-based rock duo will be curating Lumpen’s summer 2011 Sex Issue, and to celebrate they’ll dedicate their upcoming show, tomorrow at Co Prosperity Sphere in Bridgeport, to their favorite from the provocative series - Lumpen’s 1995 Sex Issue.

The show will incorporate themes of sex and sensuality. Not only will the venue be adorned with sensuous décor thanks to the EP Theater design team, but Chicago artist Tom Torluemke will have erotic drawings, paintings, and sculptures on display throughout the space. Jered Brown, the local chocolatier behind Chocolat Brown, will supply truffles and caramels to seduce your tastebuds, and Lumpen will be giving away complimentary copies of its 1995 Sex Issue.

Ornery Little Darlings will be accompanied by locals The Loneliest Monk and Grace Kulp, as well as all-girl Cleveland punk rock band HotChaCha. The show ends around midnight, but head just a couple blocks north to Maria's for the afterparty. And in the meantime, you can pick up Ornery Little Darlings’ debut EP, Ooh La La, for free through their Bandcamp site.

Ornery Little Darlings will play Tomorrow, Friday, February 11 at Co Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S Morgan, $5
