Mat Devine Talks Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark

Kill Hannah frontman Mat Devine chatted with Do312 last week about his experiences as a cast member of the Broadway disaster-in-the-making Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. It's notable for being one of the few positive things we've read about the production since professional theatre critics got tired of waiting fo the show to finish previews and filed a torrent of scathing reviews last week.

Devine's interview doesn't shed much light on the interior workings of the show, for instance when asked about Bono and The Edge he's effusive without getting specific. But if you're curious to read something Sider-Man related that doesn't compare the show to a turn of the century cruise ship going down during its maiden voyage it serves that purpose nicely.

Also, Devine confirms Kill Hannah is still an active band. Take that as you wil.
