Check Out Adulture's Process In The Studio

By Jake Guidry in Arts & Entertainment on Mar 1, 2011 9:40PM

Local house producer (and Chicagoist Mix Series alum) Adulture put us on to this pretty cool video of him in a start-to-finish studio session, filmed by the folks at Lazy Day Lounge. The video documents Adulture producing a song from scratch and it gives some nice insight into his creative mindset. What may surprise a few is his use of non-digital elements, including vinyl sampling and bass guitar. It's also rather impressive the presumed short amount of time it took to belt out a solid disco-house tune. If you dig the track as much as we do, you'll be pleased to know that it's getting some vocals and will be released soon under Adulture's new project with Ghosts of Venice, Second City Rhythm.
