"One for the Road:" Diane Izzo

We noted the passing of Diane Izzo yesterday in "Extra Extra." But that's nowhere near befitting one of the best singer-songwriters this city's ever produced (seriously, do yourself a favor and download the Brad Wood-produced One). Both Greg Kot and Jim DeRogatis offered their posthumous tributes to Izzo. Instead of words, we thought we'd offer some of her music today in tribute. This is from a movie Izzo was working on with her longtime partner Marco Zas, filmed by the noted local photographer Jim Newberry. Godspeed.
