Happy Birthday Chicago!!!

Today marks the 174th anniversary of the incorporation of Chicago as a city. As with most things that reach such a mature age, it's pretty hard to shop for gifts. Still, we put together a wish list of things we could give Chicago on its big day, if we were in a position to do so.
- A little botox or concealer for the crater-sized potholes on her streets we've been driving over lately.
- A public transportation system that can take her residents anywhere in the area they need to go, efficiently and reliably.
- Shots to clear up her nasty Asian carp infection.
- While a centralized music district would be nice, we'd settle for a city that isn't antagonistic to music clubs.
- More running/cycling paths and a wider lakefront path.
- A well-balanced budget and free parking.
- An offensive line for her football team.
- Fully loaded food trucks.
- Some skinny jeans, black rimmed glasses and a tweed hat since she's apparently hip now.
- A new mayor... oh, wait.
