The Blackhawks have found themselves on a hot streak, and not just combined as a team. Captain Jonathan Toews scored a goal to extend his point streak to nine games as the Hawks grabbed their eighth straight win in a 5-3 victory over the Maple Leafs Saturday.

Chicago took a 3-0 lead in the first period and had a 5-1 advantage after two as and Marian Hossa, Michael Frolik, Viktor Stalberg, and Bryan Bickell all scored.

Toews has 8 goals and 15 points during his nine-game run, and seven goals in his last five games. The Hawks have now collected points in 12 of their last 13 games and are fourth in the Western Conference with 80 points, just 2 points ahead of Phoenix and 2 behind San Jose.

The Hawks will continue their road trip Tuesday as they visit the Florida Panthers.
