DOWNLOAD: Rabble Rabble's New Live Album

Anyone who knows local psychedelic punk band Rabble Rabble knows they revel in the live concert experience.

The high-octane, whip-smart, tighter-than-botox quartet's first cassette and download releases were of live shows; the band's 2010 studio debut, Bangover, is named for the after effects of going to their shows -- your neck is sore the next morning from all the headbanging you did; hence, Bangover. -- and, finally, the group has a show schedule around town that'd make James Brown feel like a lazy clown.

All of which is just an excessively wordy of saying that Rabble Rabble kicks ass live. Luckily for you, the only name-taking they likely do is to collect emails for their newsletter.

On Saturday, the band celebrated the release of a new live album by rocking the Hideout's SXSW send-off show. Additionally, the group released the live album, recorded at last fall's Giant System-sponsored show at the Empty Bottle, for a no-minimum download. (Which is to say, free, though we encourage you to throw the band a few bucks if you can).

If your Monday needs a kick in the pants, go to the Rabble Rabble bandcamp for your audio equivalent.
