Foo Fighters Are Playing At My House, My House

By Jon Graef in Arts & Entertainment on Mar 17, 2011 8:40PM

2011_03_foo_fighters.jpg If you can write a convincing argument for the Foo Fighters playing a show at your garage in 25 words or less, you and 50 pals might have a chance at hosting the Chicago stop of their "garage tour" on April 19. The word count makes it so anyone who enters practically has to communicate their argument in grunts and emoticons, but we're hoping fans can pull off some creative Foo haikus given the constraints.

Dave Grohl, who, at this stage in his career, is practically the Jack Bauer of fighting foo, and the gang will wage war in eight different cities for their garage tour. Callers to local radio stations (in our case, Q101) will also have a chance to attend by entering the concert sweepstakes, where the winners concert tickets (naturally), and an autographed copy of the band's upcoming seventh studio album, Wasting Light.

Curious parties can hit the band's site for more details. In the meantime: Who wants to convince Kevin to enter so the Foo Fighters can play his South Side abode?
