Tonight is a special occasion with the expected "supermoon," A full moon during the vernal equinox. The last time a full moon was this close to earth occurred in 1993.
With the moon being 221,566 miles from earth tonight, it'll appear bigger and brighter in the sky practically from sunset to sunrise. We're eagerly looking forward to checking out the Chicagoist photos flickr pool tomorrow to see what readers captured with their lenses.
