Tonight at 8:30 is the observance of Earth Hour, where we're asked to shut down everything for an hour and just enjoy the silence. We're going to get ahead of that as soon as we post this by shutting down our computers until tomorrow. The Earth Hour website has an extensive list of local landmarks and businesses observing Earth Hour. NBC Chicago has distilled that list down to a handful of bars and restaurants offering drink or dinner specials during the 60 minutes without power.
We'll fire things back up tomorrow.
