L.A.T.E. Ride Early Registration Begins

The Boulevard Lakefront Tour and Bike the Drive get larger numbers of registrants, but there's a special place in our cycling hearts for the L.A.T.E. Ride. The ride (short for Long After Twilight Ends) brings out 9,000 riders for a 25-mile jaunt through the city streets after dark, with proceeds for the event going to Friends of the Parks. Registration for this year's ride is now open and it's cheapest through Thursday, at a cool $35.

Wait, there's more. If you register online and use the promo code SMU3M8, you'll save an extra $5. that's $5 you can use towards the Bloody Mary you'll have at the end of the ride July 10.
